Background
MicVac, founded in 2000 by Dr. Joel Haamer, develops, markets and sells a high-technology method for the production of convenience food. The technology is based on rapid cooking using microwaves to achieve a premium quality product combined with a long shelf life. The In-pack pasteurisation is used successfully today for complete chilled ready meals.
